How many media sources does CyberAlert EdCals cover?
CyberAlert EdCals covers approximately 6,000 media sources in the U.S. and Canada including newspapers, consumer magazines, trade journals and online media sources. Our goal is to include all media sources that produce editorial calendars. If we have missed a specific media source, please let us know and we will add it into our research process.
How many story placement opportunities does the database contain?
At any given time, there are approximately 300,000 story placement opportunities in the CyberAlert EdCals database. Because media sources and media placement opportunities are updated every day, the number varies from day to day.
How often do you update the editorial calendar database?
The research team updates the database every business day throughout the year, deleting those media placement opportunities for which publication dates have passed, adding new opportunities, and updating on-going listings. We appreciate when clients notify us of media placement opportunities that are not presently in the database - and we put those opportunities in priority updating position.
How does the new CyberAlert EdCals compare with established editorial calendar services such as Cision (formerly Bacons and MediaMap) and other providers of media calendar services?

What are the different versions of CyberAlert EdCals?
There are two versions: Standard and Enterprise. The lower-cost Standard Version is designed for smaller companies, solo PR practitioners, PR agencies or media placement services who want to identify media placement opportunities and download them into an Excel spreadsheet. The Enterprise version includes added features such as the ability to create media placement lists, download reminders into Outlook calendar, assign stories to colleagues or email opportunities to non-subscribers. How much does each version cost?
The Standard Version is $499 for one year for one user. Each additional user is $149. The Enterprise edition is $1,499 for one year for two licensed users. Each additional Enterprise license is $249.
Do you accept credit card payments?
You may subscribe to CyberAlert editorial calendars using the form of payment you prefer. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept purchase orders with company checks and PayPal. The subscription starts when your payment clears.
Is training available?
Yes, we offer group training for Standard edition clients every week. Enterprise clients receive specialized training from account managers.
