18 Not-for-Profit Organizations to Receive
Free Media Monitoring Service from CyberAlert

Stratford, CT — 02/01/2012 — CyberAlert LLC, the worldwide online news monitoring, press clipping, broadcast monitoring and social media monitoring service, today announced the award of 18 public relations (PR) grants for 2012 to not-for-profit organizations in the United States Canada and Germany. The recipients are mainly smaller not-for-profit organizations covering a cross-section of services in health, education, social services, science & technology, culture, disaster preparedness, animal rights and economic development.

Each grant is for one free year of CyberAlert 5.0 Online News Monitoring Service. Award winners may also opt to receive CyberAlert's TV news monitoring service or social media monitoring services including blog monitoring, message board monitoring, online video monitoring and Twitter monitoring.

The 2012 award recipients are located in eight different states — California (4), Connecticut, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas (2), Virginia (2) — the District of Columbia (2), two Canadian provinces, Ontario and British Columbia, and Germany.

In announcing the award recipients, William J. In announcing the twenty grant recipients for 2012, Mr. Comcowich affirmed the company's continued support of the PR grants program. "The PR Grants program is our way of giving back to the PR community that has helped us become a leading worldwide media monitoring company. We intend to continue the grants program for many years to come," he said.

The total retail value of this year's grants exceeds $75,000. Since starting the PR Grants program in 2004, CyberAlert has awarded a total of 178 media monitoring grants to not-for-profit organizations with a retail value of more than $525,000.

Over 100 not-for-profit organizations applied to CyberAlert this year for the PR grants.
