Responding to the Good, Bad and the Ugly

How should a small business such as a restaurant handle a bad review or online criticism? The Smart Blog on Social Media, in an article by Jesse Stanchak titled "Responding to the good, the bad and the ugly" suggests having a plan in place, a point person to handle the complaint, recognizing that every business gets a bad review at some point, and trying to turn a negative into a positive by opening a conversation.
