Customer Service/Sales Rep
Relevant Work Experience — 5+ Years
Description: CyberAlert, Inc, a leading media monitoring company, is interviewing well-qualified and experienced persons for B2B customer service and in-bound phone sales of a subscription public relations service known for its superb customer service to PR and marketing professionals. In this position, the rep assists existing customers — setting up accounts, making changes to existing accounts, trouble-shooting accounts, billing, etc. On the sales side, the rep answers phone calls and live chat requests from prospects, explains and demonstrates the service, sets up trial accounts, follows-up with prospects and closes sales. In addition to responsibilities in customer service and sales, the rep also assists in developing marketing/sales materials including e-mail newsletters, social media and other marketing activities.
Shift Hours: Full time: 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Some flexibility on hours.
Part time: Up to 20 hrs per wk, between 8:00 a.m and 8:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Compensation: Hourly rate depends on work experience. Commission on all sales.
Work Environment: Pleasant offices. This is NOT a call center. It is a small B2B company with top-rated products for business professionals and an international customer base.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales position, preferably business to business.
- Superb verbal, written and telephone communications skills.
- Courteous, helpful telephone manner with consultative sales approach.
- Proven sales performance.
- PR experience a big plus.
- College degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
